Hot City heats up Winters gazebo

By From page A7 | July 31, 2014

Hot City will present a free outdoor performance from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday, July 31, at the Rotary Park Gazebo on Main Street at Railroad Avenue in front of the Community Center in Winters.

The Sacramento-based trio plays New Orleans traditional jazz, hot swing and rumba. They are known for their red-hot musical chops and their penchant for overlaying classic swing with Latin and Caribbean rhythms, Hawaiian themes and Middle Eastern melodies. The performance is the last of the Winters Friends of the Library summer concert series for 2014.

Bring a blanket or lawn chairs or sit on the grass. The Friends of the Library will have refreshments and quality used books for sale, and all proceeds will support the Winters Library. For more information, contact Keith Cary at [email protected] or 530-795-3173.
