By July 28, 2011

Mark your calendars: Miranda Cosgrove — singer, actress and star of the hit Nickelodeon show “iCarly” — will bring her high-energy show to Davis on Friday, Aug. 26.

Cosgrove, 18, will perform in Jackson Hall at the Mondavi Center for the Performing Arts as part of her Dancing Crazy Summer tour. Tickets range from $29.50 to $99 and are available online at ticketmaster.com.

She released her new “High Maintenance” EP through Columbia Records in March, following up on her 2010 debut album, “Sparks Fly.”

“The ‘High Maintenance’ EP is a pop-rock whirlwind, complete with sing-along choruses, candy-coated vocals and dance floor-friendly beats,” a news release said. “The infectious hit lead single, ‘Dancing Crazy,’ written by Max Martin and Avril Lavigne, debuted on the Top 40 chart after only three weeks on the radio.”
