Compagnia T.P.O. — a touring ensemble from Italy that specializes in interactive theater for children — will turn the Vanderhoef Studio Theatre into an exotic undersea realm as they perform “Bleu! The Mediterranean Sea” April 4-6.

The production, which is on an international tour, begins on the idyllic Greek Islands among the stones, sea shells and whispers of ancient legends, wanders through bustling sea ports and finally dives into the deep blue abyss populated by fish, seaweeds, mollusks and mysterious ancient ruins of disappeared civilizations.

There will be five performances of this 50-minute show — Friday, April 4, at 7 p.m.; Saturday, April 5, at 3 and 7 p.m.; and Sunday, April 6, at 1 and 3 p.m.

Tickets are $30 general and $10 for children, available at www.mondaviarts.org or 530-754-2787.
