An exciting year for the Davis High School Jazz Band will draw to a close with the annual Jazz on a Summer’s Eve concert at 7:30 p.m. Friday, June 3. The band will take the stage at the Brunelle Performance Hall on the Davis High School campus, 315 W. 14th St., for an evening of swing, Latin numbers and jazz ballads featuring many talented young soloists.

Earlier this spring, the group was chosen as one of 12 high school jazz big bands from across the country to perform at the Monterey Next Generation Jazz Festival.

This will be the final performance by the group as the school year ends. Donations will be accepted at the door, with gratitude.
