Joni Morris returns to Woodland

Joni Morris will be in concert in her “Legendary Ladies of Country Music” at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 24, at the Woodland Opera House.

Morris has been performing her tribute shows at sold-out venues across the country for more than 15 years. She is best-known for her portrayal of the queen of country music, Patsy Cline. She has appeared on the stage of the Grand Ole Opry and has shared the stage with such notable performers as Janie Fricke, The Gatlin Brothers and Glen Campbell.

Her CDs include “Heartsongs,” “Looking Back” and “Joni Morris — A Tribute To Legends.” Her newest release, “Joni Morris Live 2012 — A Portrait of Patsy,” will be available for sale in the lobby after her performance.
