Kids can create ‘dog-gone’ sidewalk art

By August 4, 2011

Inspired by the colorful canine art of Roy de Forest, children are invited to paint temporary chalk murals from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday outside the Pence Gallery, 212 D St. in downtown Davis. The cost is $5 for Pence members or $6 for the general public.

Kids and their parents can check out art by de Forest and artists who were inspired by his style in the gallery’s exhibit, “Marking the Territory.” All ages are welcome.

For more information, call the gallery at (530) 758-3370 or visit www.pencegallery.org.
