Marking the 50th anniversary of The Beatles landing in the United States, the Woodland Opera House will host a live concert featuring Mania!, a California Beatles band, at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 6, at the theater, 34o Second St. in Woodland.

John Zurflueh of Starbright Entertainment brought this band to the area previously, under its former name, Because.

The two-hour concert begins with songs the Beatles performed on their “Ed Sullivan Show” debut in 1964, then highlights from the “Sgt. Pepper” album and the rest of their career.

Advance tickets are $24 general and $15 for those 12 years old and younger. Tickets are available online at www.woodlandoperahouse.org, or by calling 530-666-9617.
