Rominger West Winery will feature live music by Misner & Smith during its “Happy Thursday” event from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at 4602 Second St., Suite 4.

Sam Misner on guitar and Megan Smith on upright bass and mandolin bring a freshness and lyrical vitality to Americana folk music. “At moments raw and powerful, and at other times hauntingly subtle, extraordinary two-part harmonies anchor Misner & Smith’s unique and compelling original music,” a spokesman says.

They have performed on the main stages at both the San Francisco and El Cerrito Folk Festivals, and recently headlined at Berkeley’s famed acoustic venue, the Freight & Salvage Coffeehouse.

“Happy Thursday” features special prices for wines by the glass. For more information, visit http://www.romingerwest.com or call (530) 747-2044.
