Monticello highlights music and mom in May

M is for May and music and Monticello Seasonal Cuisine at 630 G St.

From 5 to 7 p.m. on Tuesdays, Ricardo Rosales will perform on the classical bassoon during weekly wine-tasting, hosted by Davis Enterprise Wineaux columnist Susan Leonardi.

Bob Wren plays music ranging from klezmer to folk on his violin and octave mandolin from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. on Fridays.

From 6 to 9 p.m. Saturdays — except May 10 — Ken Kemmerling plays jazz piano and requests. Donna Wren will play the piano and harp from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Saturday, May 10.

Mother’s Day features Bob and Donna Wren playing folk and classical from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Guitarist Jon Spivack will perform from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday, May 18.
