Morrissey fans rejoice: The Moz has rescheduled his tour and will perform at 8 p.m. March 4 at the Mondavi Center at UC Davis.

Tickets are $49.50, $59.50, $79.50 and are available at mondaviarts.org and ticketmaster.com. For more information, call the Mondavi Center ticket office at 530-754-2787.

Those who hold tickets to Wednesday’s canceled show should hold on to them, as they are valid for the March 4 performance.

One of the most iconic figures in pop music, Morrissey has influenced countless bands and inspired legions of fans with songs of doomed relationships and broken hearts. As the front man of The Smiths, Morrissey brought vegetarianism to the forefront of popular culture with the album “Meat is Murder.”

Morrissey has enjoyed an even more successful solo career, which continues to this day.
