Don’t miss ‘Jazz-N-Pops’

Davis High School Jazz Choir members — from left, Bryce Vaewsorn, Elizabeth Kubey, Hailey Wright and Ben Alpers — invite local residents to “Jazz-N-Pops,” the final DHS choral concert of the year, featuring the Jazz and Concert Choirs. Performance time is Saturday, June 2, at 7 p.m. at the Brunelle Performance Hall at DHS, 315 W. 14th St. Musical numbers include pieces from the Broadway musicals “Pal Joey,” “West Side Story” and “In the Heights,” as well as jazz standards such as “That Old Black Magic.” The Jazz Choir will entertain audience members with choreography by Cara Rains. Advance tickets, available from Jazz Choir members, are $8 general and $5 for students. Tickets at the door will be $10 each. For more information, email Alicera Vaewsorn at [email protected].
