A tasting of locally grown and produced artisan wines from Rominger West Winery will be paired with an assortment of fruit, cheeses and cookies at a fundraiser Sunday, Nov. 6, for the Davis High School Advanced Treble Choir. The choir will perform during the event.

Guests ages 21 and older will gather from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the winery, 4602 Second St. in Davis. Tickets are $20 per person and will be available at the door.

Rominger West will pour tastings of its 2008 Chardonnay, 2010 Rominger Ranch White, 2010 Grenache Blanc, 2005 Syrah and a 2005 Chapman Red. The winery will donate all the wine for the tasting as well as 10 percent from all sales at the event.

A silent auction of gift baskets is planned. Proceeds will support the choir’s educational performance trip next spring.
