Soulful singer/songwriter Jennifer Berezan will be joined by a supporting cast of local residents — including Chris Webster, Anthony Costello and Scott Amendola — to celebrate the release of her new CD at The Palms on Wednesday.

Her concert begins at 8 p.m. at 13 Main St. in Winters. Tickets are $20 each, available at Armadillo Music in Davis, Watermelon Music in Woodland and Pacific Ace Hardware in Winters. Tickets also will be sold at the door, if available.

Berezan has long been celebrated for her warm, evocative and expressive vocals that are paired with her poet lyrics. Over the course of nine albums, she has developed and explored recurring themes with a rare wisdom.

Her lifelong involvement in environmental, women’s and other justice movements as well as an interest in Buddhism and Earth-based spirituality are at the heart of her writing.

Berezan has just released a new album called “Home,” which continues her signature mix of emotionally rich poetic songs, original guitar work, warm production a collection of esteemed musical friends, and themes that touch on “home as everywhere.”
