Spend an evening — or more — at the Vets’
Free concerts in a variety of musical genres, from blues to rock, folk to classical, kick off Saturday at the Veterans’ Memorial Theater, 203 E. 14th St. The third annual series, dubbed An Evening at the Vets’, is co-sponsored by the city of Davis Community Services Division and Woodland Healthcare Davis.
The concerts begin at 7:30 p.m. each Saturday through Nov. 10. Performers are Crow Canyon, rock, Oct. 13; Matt & George and The Pleasant Valley Boys, bluegrass, Oct 20; Belle Francisco, blues, folk and jazz, Oct. 27; Travis Brass, classical, Nov. 3; and Hardwater, classic rock and folk, Nov. 10.
Seating will be general, on a first-come, first-served basis. Snacks and beverages will be available for purchase from Stone Soup Catering & To Go.
