The Davis High School Jazz Choir, under the musical direction of William Zinn with choreography by Cara Rains, will present its 24th annual Jazz Choir Cabaret, “I Got Rhythm,” on Saturday and Sunday, Feb. 11-12, at Emerson Junior High School, 2121 Calaveras Ave.

Proceeds from the event will support the choir’s trip to New Orleans in April with the DHS Jazz Band. It will feature musical numbers by the Jazz Choir accompanied by the Jazz Combo, as well as a live auction, silent auction, raffle, and a meal catered by Cracchiolo’s. The Feb. 12 performance will feature a special pre-show performance by the Jazz Band.

Tickets are $40 for adults and $20 for students. Table seating is assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. Ticket order forms for the dinner show are available at dhsjazzchoir.org and must be received by Friday, Feb, 3.

The music of Cabaret — minus dinner — also can be heard at a special concert at 7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 16, at the Brunelle Performance Hall at Davis High School, 315 W. 14th St. Concert tickets, available at the door, are $10 for adults and $5 for students and seniors.
