Weekend fun starts early at RootStock

Thursday is the new Friday at RootStock, 22 Main St. in downtown Winters. Complimentary wine and olive oil tasting are offered from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.

This Friday, check out the Charlie Wade Blues Band from 6 to 8 p.m. The five-member band from Solano County plays 1940s and ’50s harp blues, featuring music by Little Walters, Gary Smith, Paul Butterfield, Jimmy Rodgers, Muddy Waters, Kim Wilson, Mark Ford and Big Walter Horton.
