Starting this fall, new workshops will be offered at the Art-is-Davis co-op, 222 D St. in downtown Davis.

Figure Drawing and Painting sessions are run by Seana Burke on Sundays, Mondays and Tuesdays. These sessions are open to all ages, media and levels.

Pre-registration is being taken for classes that include Drawing and Watercolor for Beginners with Joanne Andresen, Advanced Watercolor, Advanced Acrylics with Marieke DeWaard, and Working with Color with Jan Walker.

Aspiring artists also are invited to drop in any Friday from 4 to 6 p.m. to explore a variety of mixed media with Burke.

Contacts and more information are available online at www.art-is-davis.com, or visit the studio on D Street.
