New Harmony plays at craft fair

The New Harmony Jazz Band will perform classic jazz and dance music from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday, July 6, at the Square Tomatoes Crafts Fair in Davis’ Central Park, Third and C streets. The monthly fair runs from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. with more than 40 vendors. The event is free to the public.
New Harmony Jazz Band welcomes new bass player Gerardo Spinelli. Other members are Michael O’Hearn (trumpet), Eric Zilbert (trumpet, cornet and fluglehorn), Tom Carpenter (saxophone and clarinet), Molly Townsend (baritone sax), Dwight Howard and Margarite Perez (trombones), John Olichney (guitar), Ken Kemmerling (piano) and Jason Votaw and Kai Norton (drums).
