By From page A9 | October 23, 2013

The charming musical “Oliver” opens Friday, Nov. 8, at the Jean Henderson Performing Arts Center stage, 607 Peña Drive.
Based on the Charles Dickens novel, this Davis Musical Theatre Company production engages the audience with its pathos and drama, while delighting patrons with its outstanding musical numbers.

“Food, Glorious Food,” “I’d Do Anything,” “Where is Love?,” “Consider Yourself,” “As Long As He Needs Me,” “Who Will Buy?” and “Reviewing the Situation” are classics that will leave the audience saying “Please sir, may I have some more?” This musical is recommended for all ages.

The show is directed and choreographed by DMTC co-producer Jan Isaacson.

“Oliver” will be presented at 8:15 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays, Nov. 8 through Dec. 1, and 2:15 p.m. Sundays. Tickets are $18 general and $16 students/seniors (55 and over) and $14 each for groups of 10 or more. A $2 facility fee is added to each ticket.

Tickets may be purchased online at dmtc.org or by calling 530-756-3682.
