Filmmakers show off their best at annual Davis festival

A short feature by Davis filmmaker Samantha Howard, another short by festival organizer Judith Plank, two international short films and the award-winning “Who Bombed Judi Bari?” will be among the movies showcased at the ninth annual Davis Film Festival.

The event takes place Friday and Saturday, April 6 and 7, at the Veterans Memorial Theater, 203 E. 14th St. in Davis.
