Photographer gives gallery talk

By March 28, 2011

“Playing With Perspective” is the title of Michael Radin’s photography exhibit at the Pence Gallery, 212 D St. in downtown Davis. The show continues through April 21.

Radin will give a free talk from 2 to 3 p.m. Sunday, April 10, discussing his photography in light of scientific concepts of motion and linear perspective.

His “Plein Air Photography at 50 mph” series as well as his architectural photographs are a look into how people perceive depth and how photography can reveal (and hide) reality.

Pence Gallery hours are 11:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesdays through Sundays. For more information, call the gallery at (530) 758-3370 or visit http://www.pencegallery.org.
