The Plainfield Pickers — from left, Jim Jelks, drums and vocals; Harold Crawford, banjo and vocals; Scott Stone, guitar and lead vocals; and Jim Hilliard, bass and vocals — bring their own special blend of Western swing and bluegrass music to Picnic in the Park on Wednesday from 5 to 8:30 p.m. in Central Park, Fourth and C streets. The Woodland-based band has played together since 1998.
