This weekend is going to be filled with musical performances and art classes to support the local community at RootStock. Tree-O will perform from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 28, in the Alley Gallery, 22 Main St. in Winters. The group returns to this venue with a fresh set of originals from its new CD, “Count Of Days.”

From noon to 3 p.m. Saturday, there will be an art class celebrating Winters, with the proceeds going to help the local PTA. “Cork & Canvas” is designed for both beginners and experienced painters. The class costs $50, with proceeds going to the PTA.

There are 20 seats available and every student leaves with a canvas of the water tower. All students paint the same design based on the booked class.

Sign up by emailing full name and phone number to lynda@rootstockgifts.com. Participants will receive an email confirmation.

For more information on any of these events, call 530-794-6008 or visit rootstockgifts.com.
