RootStock hosts two nights of music

Rootstock will host its monthly Open Mic Night from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, offering a venue for musicians, singers and songwriters to share their talent. The winery is at 22 Main St. in downtown Winters.

The Friday Night Music Series, from 6 to 8 p.m., features the soulful sound of Belle Francisco & The Flames, an acoustic, progressive rock and folk band featuring Suzi Browning on vocals and percussion, Dwight Howard on bass, J. Cedar Seeger on guitar, Jonny Florez on drums/percussion and Rodger Kunkel on mandolin. Belle Francisco is a singer song writer and plays the guitar.
