Kyle Rowland, recently named Best Prodigy Musician by the Best of Blues 2011 Backroad Blues, will headline the 11th annual Blues Harvest fundraiser Friday, Nov. 2, for the Yolo Adult Day Health Center.

The Blues Harvest organized by Friends of Adult Day Health Care, which supports the center that is now in its 28th year of providing care to the area’s frail elderly and disabled adults. Myra Gable has been selected to serve as honorary chairperson of the event.

Also playing will be local favorites Hardwater and the Flatland String Band.

This year’s Blues Harvest — which runs from 6:30 to 11 p.m. Friday, Nov. 2, at the Heidrick Ag History Center, 1962 Hays Lane in Woodland — includes a buffet, an array of wine provided by local vintners, craft beer and a raffle for an iPad, an iPod nano and a Kindle Fire.

The accompanying auction orchestrated by auctioneer Walter Dahl features a Kauai vacation, a New York City getaway, a chance to meet “Tonight” show host Jay Leno, an original Earl Boley landscape and a signed David Lance Goines print, among other unusual gift and entertainment opportunities.

Tickets are $45 in advance, available at The Avid Reader, 617 Second St. in downtown Davis. For more information, call 530-666-8828.
