The Sacramento Choral Society and Orchestra, with music director Donald Kendrick, is holding membership auditions for its 2014-15 concert season.

Experienced singers with good music-reading skills should email the SCSO at [email protected] or call 916-536-9065. The chorus rehearses from 7 to 9:30 p.m. Mondays from September through May.

The Sacramento Choral Society and Orchestra is celebrating its 19th year of performances in the capital region with concerts at Sacramento’s Fremont Presbyterian Church, Memorial Auditorium and the Sacramento Community Center Theater. The SCSO plans to end the season with a self-funded international concert tour in July 2015 to France, Normandy and England with performances in Notre Dame Cathedral (Paris) and St. Paul’s Cathedral (London).

The SCSO is composed of 170 singers from six counties in the Sacramento region. For more information, visit sacramentochoral.com.
