The UC Davis Craft Center Gallery presents “Rainbow of Chaos,” a solo exhibition of glass mosaics by instructor and volunteer Jennifer Rutherford. The exhibition opens Monday and continues through Sept. 19.

The exhibition primarily features glass mosaics, paintings and knitted garments designed by the artist, with the occasional sculpture or jewelry piece thrown in. Featured themes and inspiration seen in the works include fantasy, costumes, nature and the UCD campus landscape and artwork.

Many of the works in the show were created while Rutherfood took Craft Center classes in sculpture, painting and drawing, or are based on skills learned at the Craft Center such as making mosaics.
