Director Mindy Manville is accepting enrollment for the 2014 Mini-Musical, “Cinderella Enchanted,” which will begin once-weekly rehearsals from 3:45 to 5:45 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 9, at the Veterans’ Memorial Center.

Rehearsals will run once weekly and will culminate in a performance on Friday, April 18, on the Veterans’ Memorial Theater stage. This musical will be a combination of songs from Disney’s “Cinderella,” Rodgers & Hammerstein’s Broadway “Cinderella,” Disney’s “Enchanted” and “Ella Enchanted.”

Mini-Musicals are lively performance programs geared toward students in grades 2-6 and are non-auditioned, age-appropriate early experiences onstage, in which every student is placed in a solo and on at least one dance team. Cast members are onstage during most of the performance.

No previous experience is required, but interest in singing and performing is very helpful. Only the song and dance component of a show is emphasized, so please note that Mini-Musicals are not acting classes.

The cost is $170 for individuals and $320 for siblings, with two half-price scholarships available through the director. There are minimum and maximum numbers required to run the program.

For enrollment information, contact Manville at minmanmusic@comcast.net or 530-304-3125.
