‘Sound of Music’ opens in Woodland

One of the most beloved musicals of all times, “The Sound of Music,” will open Friday at the Woodland Opera House. Featuring an irresistible Rodgers and Hammerstein score including “Do Re Mi,” “My Favorite Things,” “Edelweiss” and “Climb Every Mountain,” the show runs Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30 p.m. and Sundays at 2 p.m. with an additional matinee at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 2.

The Opera House is at Second and Main streets in downtown Woodland. Tickets to “The Sound of Music” are $20 general, $18 for senior citizens and $10 for children. For more information, call the box office at (530) 666-9617 or e-mail [email protected]
