Spangler Band plays RootStock on Dec. 7

The Spangler Band — which includes Adam Estell on bass and vocals, Chris Reilly on drums and vocals, Helen Spangler on piano/keyboard and vocals and Tim Spangler on guitar and vocals — will play at RootStock in downtown Winters from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 7.

The group writes all of their songs, which mix folk, rock and blues. Their three-part harmonies and melodic instrumentation combine with “everyman” lyrics that tell stories about love and relationships, determination, individuality and self-reliance.

Their recent CD, “Shiny Objects,” will be available for purchase at RootStock or online at www.reverbnation.com/spanglerband.
