Davis Community Church will present its spring concert, “Songs of Comfort and Hope,” at 4 p.m. Sunday, May 19.

During challenging times, people often find the gift of music a source of renewal and strength. The music selected for this concert includes expressive pieces of a wide variety of moods and styles.

In addition to works sung by the Chancel and Chamber Choirs, the concert will feature a duet from the “Messiah” performed by Tania Mannion and Rachel Kessler, a piano solo by David Deffner and a duet featuring Deffner and the Rev. Mary Lynn Tobin.

The concert begins at 4 p.m. in the DCC sanctuary at 412 C St. in downtown Davis.

The suggested donation of $10 supports the DCC Community Concert Series as well as local and international charitable organizations. For more information, call 530-753-2894 or visit dccpres.org.
