By From page A7 | February 20, 2014

Story Pirates is a group of performers who will give two special performances at 1 and 3 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 23, at the Mondavi Center. The audience will be seated up on the Jackson Hall stage with the performers, and the show will feature stories that were created by children (and then adapted for the stage by professional actors and singers). For their appearance in Davis, the Story Pirates will be presenting what are described as “two new amazing stories, one of which includes a ‘Marshmallow Man Song,’ and one of them features a cat-free zone.” This will be the Story Pirates’ first visit to Mondavi. Tickets are $30 general, $15 children, available at www.mondaviarts.org or 530-754-2787.
