The second season of Sundays @ I-House, an ongoing fundraiser benefiting International House, Davis, continues with its first anniversary celebration from 7 to 10 p.m. Sunday, March 3, at I-House, 10 College Park.
Sundays at I-House offer cross-cultural performances of music and spoken word. The anniversary event will feature open-mic performers, in 30-minute segments, with three 20-minute featured acts performing on the half-hour.
Featured performers include guitarists Dave McAsey and John Swann, and mother-daughter duo Scarlet Huber and Julia Van Horn, along with fellow performers Goran Muhlert and Jason McAlister.
Guests of all ages are welcome. Admission is free, but donations are appreciated. Desserts and beverages will be available for purchase.
Co-producers James Williams and Matthew Harral will host the event, which highlights all cultures and talents. It embodies the goal of International House, which is to welcome foreign student and visitors, and to bring many cultures together for a broad range of entertainment and educational opportunities.
