By From page A11 | November 27, 2012

The second season of Sunday(s) @ I-House, an ongoing fundraiser benefiting International House, Davis, continues with more cross-cultural open-mic performances of music and spoken word from 7 to 10 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 2, at I-House, 10 College Park. A featured performer will be highlighted with a 30-minute set in the middle of the evening.

Mother-daughter performers Scarlet Huber and Julia Van Horn will be featured that evening, along with Goran Muhlert. Huber and Muhlert will perform songs in Portuguese with traditional South American rhythms, and Van Horn will share contemporary Latin songs and original compositions.

Admission is free, but donations are accepted with gratitude. In addition, beverages and desserts will be available for purchase.

Co-producers James Williams and Matthew Harral host this event, which welcomes diversity and improvisation. Performers of all cultures are invited to share their talents. Sunday(s) @ I-House embodies the goal of I-House, which is to welcome foreign student and visitors, and to bring many cultures together for a broad range of entertainment and educational opportunities.
