From page A9 | February 27, 2014 |

The third season of Sundays at I-House — started by local performer and producer James Williams — begins its three months of cross-cultural open-mic and featured entertainment from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday, March 2, with a special evening of music by two local bands. Open-mic evenings will return on Sunday, March 30.

Eklectica will perform classics from their repertoire from around the world. The group is made up of Scarlet Huber on vocals and percussion, Goran Muhlert on guitar, Rick Palkovic on Portuguese guitar and mandolin and Jamie Knapp on upright bass.

Road Crew — which performs a mix of Americana favorites of folk, blues, country and rock genres — features Ron Goldberg (vocals and mandolin), his wife Wendy Silk, (keyboard and accordion), Halley Miller (percussion), Don Schmitt (guitar) and Richard Scozzari (bass).

All ages are welcome. This evening of entertainment is an ongoing fundraiser for I-House, 10 College Park. The suggested donation is $5 to $20 but any size contribution is appreciated. Beverages and snacks will be available for purchase.

For more information, email Williams at jw.createsrt@gmail.com.
