Two performers set for Wine’d Down Thursday

By From page A9 | March 26, 2013

The barrel room at Sundstrom Hill Winery switches things up for Wine’d Down Thursday this week with two musicians, each performing his own set.

Joaquin Feliciano has studied piano, voice, music theory and composition. His songs include early and contemporary folk and cowboy music, love songs, leaving songs and acoustic rockers.

He will be followed by Jackie Carroll, a classically trained singer who has sung in many musicals throughout the nation but who will perform at the winery as “a folk Americana cellist.”

Wine’d Down Thursday will be outside to take advantage of the spring weather; bring a chair and enjoy music, wine and friends. The new 2012 Viognier was recently released to outstanding reviews. Sundstrom Hill is at 2744 Del Rio Place in Mace Ranch and will be open from 5 to 7 p.m. For more information, call the winery at 530-574-1296.
