“Body of Knowledge” by Linda Noveroske-Tritten — presented by the Institute for Exploration in Theater, Dance and Performance — is a non-traditional piece that will be performed at 8 p.m. Thursday through Saturday, Oct. 17-19, in Wright Hall’s Lab A.
The presentation explore ways in which memories are embodied and transformed across time. Immersed in the sometimes-violent, sometimes humorous, de-restoration of art, one woman tears her way through the past by way of “forgotten” objects and releases their stories anew.
Admission is $5. Audience members are invited to participate on multiple levels in this experiment that recasts relationships between materiality and memory, and questions whether such a thing exists as a “true story.”
