Imagine the solitude of a mist-filled forest, the beauty of a coastal enclave or the fragrances of rural setting combined with the time for reflection in a land once governed by Romans, Muslims and Christian rulers.
While the description may conjure up several places in the world, Rick and Monique Moniz have captured all of this in a video about Spain: Roman aqueducts, Muslim palaces, Jewish synagogues and Christian churches and more.
The video will be shown at 7 p.m. Thursday, July 24, at the International House, Davis, 10 College Park.
The Andalusia region and the shelled path that leads to Santiago de Compostela beckon the hardy traveler to walk among cities that end along The Way of St. James, The Camino.

The presentation will include refreshments and a lecture on the culture and history of the nation. The evening will cover mouth-watering tapas to varietal wines, olive groves to ancient art and more experiences along The Camino.
