Wine tasting offered Sunday at Elevation Ten

Applegate Dance Company will celebrate its 20th anniversary season with a special wine tasting at Elevation Ten in Clarksburg from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday.

Applegate Dance Company is a local, nonprofit organization directed by Davis native Lisa Applegate-Zimanyi. This year, ADC is celebrating its 20th season of supporting youth in the region with quality education and performance opportunities in the classical art of ballet and other dance forms.

ADC is partnering with Elevation Ten to host this unique fundraiser. Elevation Ten is a small production winery showcasing elegant, artisanal wines that honor the history and heritage of family and place. The ambition of three local families, Elevation Ten pays tribute to the love of family, friends and the special town of Clarksburg, where their commitment to community runs deep.

The Clark, DiMare and Wallace families named this winery after Clarksburg’s elevation—10 feet above sea level.

Elevation Ten is in the historic Old Sugar Mill in Clarksburg, 35265 Willow Ave., Suite 104, Clarksburg, just 30 minutes from Davis. Non-alcoholic beverages and appetizers also will be served. Tickets are $20, which is a tax-deductible donation.
