WOH to hold auditions for ‘Zuccotti Park’

By From page A11 | August 06, 2014

The Woodland Opera House will be holding auditions for “Zuccotti Park” — a musical about the economy — at 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 9.

The concert-reading performance of the new musical will be performed at 7:30 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 28, at the WOH, 340 Second St. in downtown Woodland.

Actors will be on book, except for songs, with a light rehearsal schedule. This is an opportunity to be in the first cast to perform this musical in a theater in front of a large audience. This special event will be free for WOH season-ticket holders.

Individuals should come to auditions with a prepared song (16 to 32 bars) and the sheet music. Actors also will be given sides to read from the play. For character breakdowns, visit www.woodlandoperahouse.org. For more information, call 530-666-9617.
