Woodland Opera House Theatre for Families presents ‘Stuart Little’

The Woodland Opera House Theatre for Families will present “Stuart Little” at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 8. The show will be presented at 7:30 p.m. Fridays and at 2 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays through Feb. 17. The show is underwritten by Jennifer Goldman, D.D.S., and Amy Tran, D.D.S.

Based on the children’s literature classic by E.B. White, it is the story of a mouse named Stuart, who is born into an ordinary New York family. All the charm, wisdom and joy of the novel are captured in this stage adaptation that promises to entertain the whole family.

Cedric Hughes is featured as Stuart Little. Calvin Davey, Hayley Harrison, Emily Miller, Jimin Moon, Bailey Robinson-Burmester and Frances Thayer are the ensemble of players, who each create several roles, including Mr. and Mrs. Little, Dr. Carey, Margalo the bird of Stuart’s passions, Snowbell his arch nemesis, and the many other people and animals who cross Stuart’s path.

The show is directed by Eva Sarry.

Reserved-seat tickets are $16 general, $14 for seniors and students and $8 for children 17 and under. Balcony seats are $8 general and $5 for children. They’re available at www.woodlandoperahouse.org or 530-666-9617.
