Yolo Mambo adds spark to Picnic in the Park

Yolo Mambo — which includes Phil Summers, guitar and vocals; Catherine Leblanc, flute, ukulele and vocals; Carla Campbell, percussion and vocals; Steve O’Neil, bass and vocals — will perform its spicy cha-cha, jazz, bossa nova, samba, salsa and folk music from 5 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at Picnic in the Park.

LeBlanc’s vocals in languages from all over the world mixed with Yolo Mambo’s world music will transport listeners in Central Park, Fourth and C streets, to Brazil, Cuba, Peru, Cape Verde, France, Spain and New Zealand. The Davis Farmers Market is open at the event from 4:30 to 8:30 p.m.
