Madrigal Choral Director Karen Gardias has developed two outreach programs for Davis area elementary and junior high students.

Junior high singers are invited to attend an information meeting/audition from 7 to 8:30 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 18, in the Choral Room (P-08) at Davis High School. Students accepted to take part in this program will attend several rehearsals, memorize traditional carols to sing and learn an additional piece that will be performed with the Madrigal Singers at the annual Madrigal Dinners on Nov. 30 and Dec. 1 at University Covenant Church in Davis.

Children in kindergarten through sixth grade are invited to join the Davis High Madrigals on Monday, Nov. 12, for a morning of holiday caroling. This workshop is designed to give younger children the opportunity to work with high school singers and learn some of the traditional carols that the choir has learned and sings annually.
