Books and beer at Heidrick Ag History Center

Join authors Ed and Sue Claessen at 5:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 23, for a discussion and signing of their new book, “Making Tracks: C.L. Best and the Caterpillar Tractor Co.”

Attendees will learn about C.L. Best’s contributions to tractor designs and California agriculture, and see some of Best’s tractor designs in the collection of the Heidrick Ag History Center, 1962 Hays Lane in Woodland. Books will be available for purchase at the event, and snacks and Sudwerk beers are complimentary for attendees.

The event is free to Heidrick Ag History Center members and costs $5 for all others. RSVP by emailing aghistory@aghistory.org or calling (530) 666-9700.
