The Center for Spiritual Living presents a program of music, inspirational readings and the spoken word by Karie Hillery at noon Sunday, Feb. 26.

Hillery’s free “Season for Peace” program is inspired by Associate Global New Thought’s 64-day initiative honoring Martin Luther King, Mohandas Gandhi and César Chávez.

Her original musical style blends the jazzy flavor of artists like Ella Fitzgerald and Diana Krall, sprinkled with the pop/rock blues mix feel of Sarah McLachlan, and kd lang, with a little bluesy Bonnie Raitt sprinked in.

The Season for Non-Violence, which runs from Jan. 30 through April 4, is an educational, media and grassroots campaign dedicated to demonstrate nonviolence.

The Center for Spiritual Living meets at Congregation Bet Haverim, 1715 Anderson Road in Davis.

Hillery’s website is at www.karie.com. For additional information, visit www.csldavis.org or call (530) 297-0590.
