Morse Remodeling, Inc. and Custom Homes of Davis has been awarded “Best Of Houzz” by Houzz, the leading platform for home remodeling and design. The local design-build firm was chosen by the more than 16 million monthly users who comprise the Houzz community.

The Best Of Houzz award is given in two categories: customer satisfaction and design. Customer satisfaction honors are determined by a variety of factors, including the number and quality of client reviews a professional received in 2013.

Design award winners’ work was the most popular among the more than 16 million monthly users on Houzz, known as “Houzzers,” who saved more than 230 million professional images of home interiors and exteriors to their personal ideabooks via the Houzz site, iPad/iPhone app and Android app.

Winners will receive a “Best Of Houzz 2014” badge on their profiles, showing the Houzz community their commitment to excellence. These badges help homeowners identify popular and top-rated home professionals in every metropolitan area on Houzz.

“Our clients have enjoyed using the Houzz platform to assist them in getting their personal ideas and thoughts about the finish of their new space conveyed to our design staff,” said Marty Morse, owner of the firm. “The phrase ‘a picture is worth a thousand words’ definitely is true when it comes to deciphering words with interior design finishes.

“Houzz allows our clients to browse interior and exterior home photos in the comfort of their home, and then share their idea book with our designers. These photos provide inspiration for our design team to quickly develop concepts that reflect the tastes of our clients, with accurate results.”

Local residents can follow Morse Remodeling, Inc. and Custom Homes on Houzz at www.houzz.com/pro/morseremodeling.

Morse Remodeling, with three full-time professional designers on staff, have been remodeling in Davis and the greater Sacramento area since 1992 and have been active members in the National Association Remodeling Industry for nine years.

Morse’s remodeling projects include kitchen and bathroom renovations, additions and new home designs and construction.
