Chamber mixer to highlight local foods
In an effort to show that good health starts with farm-fresh food, Sutter Davis Hospital, the Davis Farmers Market and the Davis Farm to School Program have teamed up to present the Davis Chamber of Commerce mixer on Thursday.
The mixer runs from 5 to 6:30 p.m. in the meditation garden at Sutter Davis Hospital, 2000 Sutter Place, Davis.
Caffé Italia will showcase “Pizza with a Purpose” to benefit the Davis Farm to School organization.
The mixer also will feature local cherries and strawberries, ice cream from Davis Creamery, ice pops from Fat Face, dips and bolanis from East West Gourmet Foods, cookies and breads from Upper Crust Bakery and wine from Rominger West.
