Davis Downtown hosts annual meeting

Davis Downtown invites local business owners and interested residents to its annual meeting from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Monday, Feb. 4, at Tres Hermanas, 805 Second St. in downtown Davis.

The gathering begins with networking and socializing; complimentary hors d’oeuvres and hosted beer and wine will be available. The agenda includes:

* An update on the activities of Davis Downtown;

* A thank-you to retiring directors: Michael Bisch of Davis Commercial Properties, Rosalie Paine of nestware, Scott Purves of Purves and Associates Insurance Agency and Jennifer Anderson of Davis Ace; and

* Election of new directors. Candidates presented to serve a three-year term beginning next month and ending in January 2016 are Bisch, Eric Stromberg of the Davis Food Co-op, Maia Sturges of The Paint Chip and Dave Morse of Boos Development — West.
