Following more than 25 years as CEO of biotechnology and ingredient companies and his retirement from PGP International Inc., Zachary S. Wochok of Davis formed The Wochok Group LLC earlier this month.
For the past 15 years, Wochok has been CEO of PGP International, an ABF Ingredients company, which is a division of Associated British Foods. During his tenure at PGP, the company experienced nearly a five-fold increase in revenues, completed one acquisition, one product line divestment and one merger. PGP International is a grain- and dairy-based food ingredients company with five locations throughout the United States.
Previously, Wochok was CEO of Plant Genetics Inc. and Nurture Inc., and chief operations officer of Calgene Inc., according to a news release.
The Wochok Group is dedicated to utilizing years of executive experiences to help others improve their business through their people, performance, productivity and profitability, the news release said. This forms the basis of The Wochok Group 4Ps, a highly focused approach to providing executives with a business health check in evaluating their overall business condition and providing opportunities for improvement.
Given the years of experience in the international arena, The Wochok Group offers advisory services to U.S. companies seeking entrée into the Pacific Rim, notably Japan and the European business community, and to Pac Rim and European companies seeking entrée into the U.S. market, including site establishment and cultural adaptation.
