DDBA lunch talk to focus on branding strategy

New strategies for marketing and branding downtown Davis will be the topic as the partners of Davis-based Tackett + Barbaria discuss their work with Davis Downtown Business Association members at the organization’s monthly brown bag lunch on Wednesday.

The informal gathering will run from noon to 1 p.m. in the River City Bank conference room, 239 E St. No RSVP is necessary, and the public is invited.

Selected by DDBA late last year to prepare a marketing plan for downtown Davis, Tackett + Barbaria is headed by husband and wife team of Kim Tackett and Steve Barbaria. The couple are long-time Davis residents who moved their 30-year-old design and consulting studio from Sacramento to Davis several years ago. The firm’s local client list includes the U.S. Bicycling Hall of Fame, LWA – Larry Walker Associates and the Food Bank of Yolo County. For more information, visit www.tbdesign.com.

Organized by DDBA’s Visioning and Community Relations Committee, the brown bag lunch series facilitates relaxed dialogue in a casual setting with interesting public figures impacting downtown Davis. The lunches typically are on the fourth Wednesday of each month.
